Learn Where to Find the Proper Air Pressure for Your Tires

Steve is here to focus on where to find the proper air pressure to put in your vehicle’s tires.  There is a misconception that this information is on the side of the sidewall of the tire itself.  That number is the maximum for the tire but not the pressure for your particular vehicle once that tire is mounted.  Years ago the manufacturers started making it easier to find by placing it on the driver’s side door jam, or on the actual door.  There you will find the cold inflation pressure for both the front and the rear tires.  If you maintain the suggested air pressure, you’ll reap the benefits of improved fuel efficiency, ride quality, handling and tread life.
