How to Check Your Engine Oil

Follow along with Roger in this quick tutorial on the importance of the level and condition of your engine oil to ensure safe operation and proper maintenance of your vehicle. First, locate your engine oil dipstick.  Remove it from the engine block and wipe the oil away with a cloth.  Note the hash marks that indicate the safe operating zone.  Reinsert the dipstick and pull it back out to inspect the level and follow your manufacturer’s service intervals for oil changes.
